Take and Seal It

A good name is to be chosen...

Our name is drawn from the final verse of the Baptist hymn "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" - a hymn which encourages introspection amidst life's uncertainties.

The specific line reads: "Here's my heart, Lord, take and seal it, seal it for Thy courts above." It is a prayer of surrender and devotion, and a reminder that we must remain faithful stewards.

Our logo simultaneously pays tribute to the "Come and Take It" flag flown at the Battle of Gonzales in 1835 — the opening engagement of the Texas Revolution. The lone star and the confident sentiment are woven into the fabric of Texas identity, and into ours.
